Name :
Active Recombinant Human FLT3 (D835Y), GST-tagged

Specification :
| Description : FLT3 is a receptor tyrosine kinase that has been shown to play a role in proliferation and survival of hematopoietic progenitor cells as well as differentiation of early B lymphoid progenitors. FLT3 consists of an extracellular domain composed of five immunoglobulin-like domains, one transmembrane region, and a cytoplasmic kinase domain split into two parts by a kinase-insert domain. FLT3 is the most frequently mutated gene in cases of acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). About 30% to 35% of patients have either internal tandem duplications (ITDs) in the juxtamembrane domain or mutations in the activating loop of FLT3. The consequence of either FLT3-ITD or activating loop mutations is the constitutive activation of the tyrosine kinase activity. | Source : Sf9 insect cells using baculovirus | Species : Human | Tag : GST | Form : Recombinant protein stored in 50mM Tis-HCl, pH 7.5, 150mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol. | Bio-activity : The specific activity of FLT3 (D835Y) was determined to be 46 nmol /min/mg | Molecular Mass : ~73 kDa | Purity : >70% by densitometry | Applications : Kinase Assay, Western Blot | Storage : Store product at –70 centigrade. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles. | Concentration : 0.05 μg/ml
